Begin Your Adventure
The entrance to Cascada El Pailón is located about 20 minutes on the road from Baños to Puyo, in the town of Río Verde. It's easy to schedule a "Waterfall Tour" with a taxi or a Chiva (public transportation). If you take a bus to Río Verde, look for our signs with the colorful hummingbird logo and follow the road
in front of the town's soccer field. Our sales office is located beside the malecón next to the bridge beside the river. Don't miss our entrance, or you won't have the best possible view of the waterfall!

Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Friday through Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Occasionally, our hours are extended during holiday weekends. Your stay can be as short as ½ hour, but 1 or more hours is even better... or stay with us all day!

Weather Tips
In the cloud forest, the weather can be unpredictable, so it's always a good idea to be prepared for light rain. Our gravel trails remain mostly dry, but good walking shoes, an umbrella, and of course, a camera are always a good idea.
